That Vijaya T. Rajendar is making a new film is not the news. The real news is that he makes a film without his trademark sets and alliterative dialogues. He has also decided to give up his typical melodramatic style and opt for more realistic portrayal.

What is the reason behind such a change? Vijaya T. Rajendar reveals that Ameer's 'Paruthi Veeran' has made him think differently. The realistic movie has impressed the filmmaker very much and hence he has decided to make a realistic film based on a village subject.

Vijaya T. Rajendar, who acts as the protagonist, has shed 6 KG weight for the movie, titled 'Oru Thalai Kaadhal'. There are two heroines along with many leading actors acting in the film. The story is set in a village in south Tamil Nadu and the entire movie will be shot in picturesque locations in the villages located near by Madurai. The director has planned to complete the movie in very short period.

It is worth recalling that Rajender's first movie 'Oru Thalai Ragam' was a realistic movie that redefined the way love films had been made in Tamil.
