What Went Wrong Between Ghibran and 14 Reels?

by mymazaa.com

For the last couple of weeks, Film Nagar is abuzz with the reports of differences between music composer Ghibran and 14 Reels Entertainment. Given that both production house and music composer are soft-spoken and usually non-controversial, the duo's split has become the talking point. Speculations are rife that Ghibran and the production house had some professional, creative issues while working on Raj Tarun-starrer Beware of Kittu and that resulted in the split.

While one version of the story doing the rounds is that Ghibran himself has walked out of the project for the reasons best guarded, the other version is that the production house has replaced Ghibran with Anoop Rubens as Ghibran was 'delaying' tunes and 'not available when needed'.

On prodding the sources close to the music director, it's learnt that Ghibran was disappointed with the 'too many inputs' given to him and gently walked out of the project and the production house has roped in Anoop as replacement. After delaying the shoot for few days due to the issue, now the film's shooting has been resumed.

Ghibran, who hails from Chennai, became quite popular in Telugu with his maiden movie Run Raja Run and had worked with stars like Kamal Haasan (Vishwaroopam 2, Cheekati Rajyam), Venkatesh (Babu Bangaram) and Ram's latest offing Hyper. While Ghibran only rendered tunes for Hyper (produced by 14 Reels), the background score was delivered by Mani Sharma. The production house has churned out several films including with top stars Mahesh Babu, Balakrishna. So, one has to wait and see what exactly went wrong between both the parties.
