In a recent interview, Sharafudheen stated that he has been receiving great feedback from his friends and viewers for his performance in the film Happy Wedding. But, the comments of Nivin Pauly made him much happier. According to Sharafudheen, Nivin Pauly called him up and praised his performance in Happy Wedding.
Nivin also stated that Sharafudheen has gotten rid of the tension and nervousness, which were visible on his face in his previous movies. Sharafudheen also mentioned that he dreams of becoming a film-maker.
He also hopes to make his directorial debut within a span of three years. The actor made a mark in the industry with the role of Girirajan Kozhi in the film Premam directed by Alphonse Puthren. Before that, he appeared doing small roles in films like Ohm Shanthi Oshana, Neram etc.
Sharafudheen would be next seen in Pretham, directed by Ranjith Sankar. The film has Jayasurya, Aju Varghese, Govind Padmasurya in prominent roles. Sharafudheen would also be seen in the film Welcome To Central Jail, which has Dileep in the lead role.
