Santhanam Born on 21st January in 1980, Santhanam started his career in small screen [TV] with Super Comedies, Tea Kadai Bench in WIN TV and Lollu Sabha during 2001 before he forayed into films through Pesadha Kannum Pesume and Simbu's debut Kadhal Azhivathillai in 2002.
After Santhanam-STR's combo tickled in Kadhal Azhivathillai they worked together in films like Vallavan, Kaalai, Silambattam, Vaanam and Osthe. In the past 11 years of his Tamil industry career, Santhanam shared screen space with almost all the top notch starts namely, Thala Ajith, Jeeva, Siddharth, Suriya, Karthi, Vishal, Arya and others.
Recently, Santhanam also started a film production company named 'Handmade Films' and also sung a couple of songs GV Prakash composed "Vanganna Vanakkanganna" with Vijay in Thalaivaa and "Aara Amara" from Nambiar, a Vijay Anthony's musical.
