Does anyone remember director Santosh? He directed Manasellam starring Srikanth and Trisha for Oscar Films a few years ago. Unfortunately the movie did not do well at the box-office and Santosh was twiddling his thumbs after that with no offer coming his way.
After a big interval, he is back in action now. The young director would be wielding the megaphone for a movie to be produced by AP Films Garden, which produced movies like Vanakkam Thalaiva and 6.2.
The movie would feature son of the producer A C Anandhan in the lead role. Santosh has managed to rope in 'Kadhal' Sandhya to play the heroine. With musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the shooting for the movie tentatively titled Yamunavai Kadhalikiren would begin in a few days from now.
AP Films Garden's forthcoming releases include Nee Venunda Chellam starring Ramesh, Namitha and Gajala and Vaathiyar featuring Arjun and Mallika Kapoor.
