The government of Telangana is taking up with mega project of planting of 25 Lakh of saplings across the state in just one day on the 11th of July.
The Minister for Urban development KT Rama Rao is looking after the arrangements for the mega project. The HMDA will be seen planting about 2 Lakh saplings that day. The site where this would happen is at the DRDO Dindigal in the Medak district and the site has been already inspected by the HMDA officials.
At the moment the pitting and the digging works are been undertaken. This mega plantation program has been planned well and is a part of the Haritha Haaram. Earlier to his, the government of Uttar Pradesh created the record by planning about 10 Lakh saplings in just one day.
