Markandey Katju opined people of Kerala have quintessential qualities of Indians such as 'live united and in harmony'. He further added, Kerala is the state where people from different castes, races and creed live together with an openness to external influence such as Dravidians, Aryans, Romans, Arabs, British, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Marxists and etc.
The Former SC Judge describes India as a country of immigrants. He treats Kerala as real India because it represents microcosm of India.
Mr.Katju's Facebook post received over 20,000 likes and 15,000 shares. Particularly, Malayalis have appreciated his heartfelt comments.
