Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy stated he had quit Congress party because of the group wars between PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and MLA Komatireddy. 'In 2014 Polls, Uttam and Komatireddy conspired to defeat each other. These group wars had a bad impact on Congress party in the state. Vexed with the development, I choose to quit the party. Don't you give minimum respect to an MP. Should I take your permission for visiting any place in the constituency? I knew your history but won't reveal it as its against the values I practice. But, I won't tolerate if the allegations turn too personal,' he warned.
Responding on the comment of Uttam that 'Gutta won only because of Congress cadre & he isn't a strong leader', Gutta breathed fire, 'Uttam..You worked in Delhi's Rashtrapati Bhavan and earned Kodada ticket overnight. Are you a self-made leader?'.
In response to Revanth Reddy's call appealing people to social boycott him, Gutta described the TDP Working President as thief who got caught in cash-for-vote scandal. 'You have gone to jail. Shut your mouth & Mind your business. You should be the first person to face social boycott!,' he fumed.
