Pakistan made clean sweep in a three-match One-day International series against Bangladesh winning the third one-dayer by 58 runs here at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Tuesday.
Chasing 178 runs, Bangladesh could not resist against an accurate experienced spin attack by the tourists and were all out for 119 runs in 38 overs.
Shoaib Malik marked his 200th one-day appearance with three wickets for six runs in four overs and fellow off-spinner Mohammad Hafeez picked up three for 27 while Saeed Ajmal and left-arm spinner Abdul Rehman claimed two wickets each for six and 32, respectively.
Main scorers for Bangladesh were Mahmudullah (35), Shahriar Nafees (25) and Farhad Raza (21) while seven batsmen could not get into double-figures as three got ducks.
Earlier, Pakistan were bowled out for 177 runs, their lowest ODI score against Bangladesh, after skipper Misbah-ul-Haq elected to bat in the day-night match.
Umar Akmal top-scored with 57 and Misbah made 47, the pair adding 94 for the fourth wicket after Pakistan were reduced to 39-3 by the 12th over.
Left-armer Razzak claimed three for 21 in 10 overs and off-spinner Mahmudullah grabbed three wickets in seven balls as Pakistan folded in 46.1 overs.
It was Pakistan's 28th win in 29 one-dayers against Bangladesh, boosting the confidence of Misbah-ul-Haq's men ahead of the two-Test series starting on Friday.
