Brahman Review
by MyMazaa.comStory:
Brahman is the story of Coimbatore based 'Modern Theater' owner Sasikumar, who is continuously humiliated for not able to make money out of his theater. As the story progresses, Sasikumar shifts to Chennai in search of his friend Naveen Chandra. In the process of finding his childhood friend, Sasikumar meets set of characters played by Soori, Jayaprakash and others. Audiences welcome a sudden twist here, when Jayaprakash gives a direction chance to Sasikumar and the rest leads to Bramman Climax.
Performances:
Sasikumar has definitely opted for a non-suiting role and hope he never repeat such mistakes in future. The director-producer-actor might have thought he was being typecasted before signing Bramman.
Lavanya Tripathi comes as a soother in the movie. She not only looks charming but has done her role appealingly.
Santhanam and Soori have done their parts at regular best. Must say they have given much needed support to Sasikumar in the movie.
Technical Analysis:
Socrates might have done much better in direction front. Former assistant of Kamal Haasan might have come up with interesting story line of reunion of two childhood friends after decades, but falls apart in reaching audiences chord.
Devi Sri Prasad's music is unappealing. No comments on cinematography and editing.
Analysis:
Bramman positives are Santhaam in the first half and Soori in the second half. Coming to others have nothing to perform much and Lavanya Tripathi is the doll with charming beauty on-screen.
