Performance:
Vikram Prabhu is smart enough to pick the right script and the role that suits him better. He fits the bill right and emoted well in the movie. Scenes with Sathyaraj are worth watching.
Monal Gajjar is cute and did her parts well. Sigaram Thodu is a notable debut for the actress.
Sathyaraj has given powerful performance both as a doting father and a honest Police officer. He is an asset for the movie.
Other stars namely Sathish and Erode Mahesh have done good job. Gaurav himself plays one of the antagonists and he has done a fair job.
Technical Analysis:
Gaurav Narayanan has to be credited for making such scrupulous film that deals with credit / debit cards scamming, might be partly. Gripping screenplay with little err here and there.
Dialogues by KS Ravikumar are one of the highlights of the movie.
D. Imman's music and background scores have made the narration more interesting.
Cinematographer Vijay Ulaganathan has done a splendid job. The picturesque locations of north India are excellently captured.
KL Praveen's editing is exceptional with racy cuts. Especially, Sathyaraj's flashback is brillaint.
Commercially, Sigaram Thodu is one of the best production ventures of UTV in Tamil.
Analysis:
Sigaram Thodu is completely Gaurav Narayanan's show by Vikram Prabhu and others on screen. Feel happy to have such a heartfelt filmmaker in Kollywood. All his eight months of his hard work paid off.
Scenes such as – Sathyaraj lifting Vikram Prabhu, a detailed report on ATM scamming, one leg fighting are well captured.
Sigaram Thodu is a well written story with a perfectly executed screenplay that is neatly packed with commercial elements. Thanks to the filmmaker and the production team for choice of excellent cast and crew, who made the film the way it is.
