Venkat Prabhu’s sequel to his 2007 trendsetter ‘Chennai 600028’ is releasing on the 10th of November 2016. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by Venkat Prabhu’s Black Ticket Company and released by S.P.B Charan’s Capital Film Works. ‘Chennai 600028 -2’ has Mirchi Shiva, Jai, Premgi Amaran, Vijay Vasanth, Nithin Sathya, Arvind Akash, Ajay Raj, Inigo Prabhakar and Subbu Panchu with Vijayalakshmi playing the main female lead.

Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Chennai 600028 2’ is already making heads turn as innovative campaigns using Facebook has already created a strong buzz in trade circles ahead of the December 9th release date. The sequel to the cult classic ‘Chennai 600028’ has the mesmerizing music of Yuvan Shankar Raja and ever youthful gang of Jai, Mirchi Siva, Nithin Sathya, Premgi Amaran, Arvind Aakash, Ajay Raj, Vijay Vasanth, Vijayalakshmi, Anjana Keethi, Sana Althaf and Manisha Yadav. The two newcomers to the team are Vaibav Reddy and Mahat Raghavendra and the former is playing the lead antagonist role in the film.

The audio of the eagerly awaited film Chennai 600028 will be launched tomorrow, on Radio Mirchi, Chennai. The soundtrack of Chennai 600028 will be launched on 22 February 2007 (Thursday), between 5pm to 9pm at the radio station. The exclusive launch programme will feature music moguls SP Balasubramanyam, Gangai Amaren, Kavingar Vaali, and Yuvan Shankar Raja, along with SP Charan, Venkat Prabhu and Prem Gi Amaren. The special programme would broadcast the nine songs of Chennai 600028 live and this is for the first time in India. The programme also has some exciting contests and free autographed CDs are to be given away as prizes during the programme. Don't miss out this once in a life time launch programme.
