More news →Kaththi Sandai Telugu producer confirms Audio release on October 9
Actor Vishal has started dubbing for his grand Deepavali release 'Kaththi Sandai' since yesterday which was also his Birthday. But we learn that the shooting of this film is yet to be completed. The film directed by Suraj is being made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. While the Tamil version is being produced by Vishal and S.Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises banner, the Telugu version titled as 'Okkadocchadu' is being produced by G.Hari of Hari Venkateshwara Films banner and presented by M.Purushottam. Even as the unit is scheduled to travel to Russia to film songs from Sept first week, Vishal has started dubbing for the Telugu version in the mean time. The film is touted to be the costliest film in Vishal's career. "A big chasing sequence has been shot on a mammoth budget of Rs. 1.50 crore. It was choreographed by the fight master Kanal Kannan. This episode will be one of the major highlights in this film. Vishal's intro song has been lavishly picturised under the supervision of dance director Sobhi in specially-erected sets in Puducherry. HipHop Thamizha's songs will be liked by all", the makers aver. Hari says, "Okkadochaadu is a perfect commercial flick with a right mix of action and other elements. With a 10-day schedule in September, the entire talkie part will have been done. Two of the songs will be canned in Russia. The first look has been released on August 19th. The audio will be out on October 9 and the film's worldwide release on October 29". Tamannah has played the female lead in this film while Jagapati Babu and Tarun Arora are playing the villain characters. Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu will be making a strong comeback as the lead comedian while Soori is also part of the star cast. The cinematography is by Richard M Nathan. and Editing is by RK Selva.
Vishal's Kaththi Sandai starts Rolling
Vishal who has just completed Marudhu, has started the shooting of his next film 'Kaththi Sandai', which will be helmed by director Suraaj. The pooja has held earlier today in the presence of the crew.Tamannaah will be romancing Vishal in this movie, while Vadivelu will be making his return as the lead comedian, along with Soori in a significant role. To be produced by Nanthagopal of Romeo Juliet fame, this film will be a complete action entertainer.Vishal who is much excited to start this new project, shared it on twitter.
Vishal's 'Kaththi Sandai' gets a favorable verdict
Actor Vishal's 'Kaththi Sandai' will be hitting the screens on November 18. On Saturday the film underwent the final formality of Censor Certification process and came out triumphs in it.Yes, 'Kaththi Sandai' directed by Suraj has acquired a clean U certificate from the Censor Board officials who have watched the film. They suggested a few cuts which were accepted by the makers..The film stars Vishal and Tamannah in lead roles. Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu makes a comeback as the lead comedian. Soori is also part of supporting cast. Jagapati Babu and Tarun Arora play the lead villains.Hiphop Tamizha has rendered the music score for this film produced by S.Nandagopal under his Mandras Enterprises banner.
When is Vishal's Kaththi Sandai releasing?
Vishal's Kaththi Sandai was supposed to hit the screens for the festive season but was postponed indefinitely. Though there are a couple of new dates doing the rounds, the actor has clarified that the final date has not been finalised yet. Now, it is said that the team is planning to release the film for Pongal 2017 locking horns with Vijay's Bairavaa. The team feels that the film will have a great advantage when released during a festival. Directed by Suraaj, the film has Tamannaah as the leading lady and Aadhi as the music director. Cameo Films has bagged the release rights.
No! Madonna wont pair Vishal in Kaththi Sandai
Actress Madonna Sabestian, who was last seen in Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum, was buzzed to have signed her next Tamil movie with actor Vishal, titled as 'Kaththi Sandai' in the direction of Suraj.But now it was confirmed that this is just a rumour, and her manager has officially confirmed it. Madonna is currently shooting for the Telugu remake of 'Premam' and is yet to sign her next.
Kaththi Kerala theatrical rights sold
Vijay's Kaththi with Samantha in AR Murugadoss direction has been one of the awaited films gearing up for this Diwali. Vikram's I also joins Diwali race with Kaththi, apparently sold theatrical rights. Ilayathalapathy enjoys good fan base in Kerala. With a huge and healthy competition between Kaththi and Shankar directed I, Shibu of Thameens Films has bought Kaththi Kerala rights for Rs. 4.5 Cr, which is less compared to I acquired by Global United Media Company for Rs. 5.35 Cr. T Siva of Boss Films owned Kaththi distribution rights for Trichy-Tanjore area, while Jaya TV owned satellite rights. Meanwhile, Vijay's Kaththi Telugu dubbing rights are with Tagore Madhu and is planning to release the movie on 31st October. Kaththi is in final stage of shooting, post-production works goin on simultaneously. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tota Roy and others played key roles in Kaththi. Music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography is by George C Williams for this Lyca productions film.
