Producers KL Narayana and S Gopal Reddy are producing a film on the banner of Sri Durga Arts with Prince Mahesh Babu in the lead very soon. Jasti Hemambaradhara Rao @ Bulli would wield the megaphone for the film for the first time. 'Mirchi' is the title under consideration for the flick and the tagline would be 'Veedu Chaala Hot Guru'. Presently story discussions are in progress. The producers are planning to launch the film in next summer with a proper script on hand. The film, however, would go to sets after 'Atithi' of Mahesh Babu under the direction of Surender Reddy of 'Athanokkade'-fame.
'Mirchi' to be launched in summer
It is well aware that S Gopal Reddy and KL Narayana, who gave a hit film like 'Raakhee' on the banner of Durga Arts is planning a film with Prince Maheshbabu, who rewrote the history of the 75-year-old Telugu cinema with his film 'Pokiri'. The film would be titled 'Mirchi', with a sub-title 'Veedu Chaala Naatu Guru'. Jaasti Hemambaradhara Rao is being introduced as director through this film. The dialogues in the film is likely to be very 'hot' and 'coarse'. The film is said to have become the career best in Maheshbabu's career and he would be presented in a different angle. Presently Maheshbabu is busy with a 'Atithi' produced by Rameshbabu on the banner of Krishna Productions under the direction of Y Surender Reddy. This Maheshbabu-starrer ' 'Mirchi' ' is most likely to go to sets in summer this year.
'Mirchi' will go on floors as planned
There have been rumours about Mirchi being stalled. But now there is confirmed news that the film is going under production. We had reported last week that a huge set has been erected for the film. The shooting will commence from the end of December. It is also being said that a song will be shot soon at the newly erected set. Rumours were rife that Mahesh was no longer interested in doing Mirchi and that he had opted to do a film with Shekhar Kammula instead. But now, it is confirmed that Durga Arts will be making the film with him as planned earlier. The search is on for the lead girl.
'Mirchi' to start shooting from Jan 18
Mahesh Babu has taken a break after 'Athidhi'. In fact, he was talking of extending it to three months. But given the number of producers chasing him day in and day out, he has finally decided to oblige the team of 'Mirchi' and has given his nod to begin shooting. So, his vacation will be ending soon. January 18 is being considered to be an auspicious day and given the superstitions in the industry, the makers of Mirchi want to start the film on that day. Like a true pro, Mahesh will now begin shooting for Mirchi from that day. He couldn't resist being on the sets after all!
Mirchi Combo Set To Team Up Yet Again
Young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently busy with the shooting of the second installment of Baahubali and he is expected to start working for ‘Run Raja Run‘ fame Sujeeth‘s film later this year. This film will be produced under UV Creations banner by Vamsi Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati. The pre-production work of the film is currently underway. As per the latest reports, Madhie, who earlier worked for Prabhas’ blockbuster film ‘Mirchi’, is going to team up with him once again. Madhie also worked for the director’s debut film. Prabhas is expected to be seen as a powerful cop in this movie. The expectations on the film have reached sky-high as Prabhas is going to don the Khaki for the first time in his career. The makers have yet to finalize the leading actress of the film.
Mirchi Heroine rules out Comeback
'Mirchi' fame Richa Gangopadhyay stunned one and all with her retirement announcement last year. Her last film happens to be 'Bhai' opposite Nagarjuna in 2013 and thereafter she choose not to face camera again. However, Richa was constantly asked by her fans on Twitter to react on the question when she will be making a comeback. Responding to the fans request, Richa posted: "New Year's resolution #42: resist the urge to explain,for the nth time,that Im not returning to films for those who still ask on Twitter ;)". Richa announced that she quit acting in November last year. She claimed to be always grateful for her 5 years career as an actress and even more grateful to what it taught her about herself and what she really want. After making debut with 'Leader' (2010), Richa managed to be part of successful films like Mirchi and Mirapakay. Films such as 'Mayakkam Enna' and 'Nagavalli' has earned her accolades.
