Chiranjeevi is the Amitabh Bachchan of Telugu filmdom. His appeal is, in fact, even bigger and emotional. So when his son Ramcharan Teja was recently formally inducted into films, the talk has inevitably centered around to the Bachchan Junior. So the big question is whether Ramcharan can become what Abhishek has become in Telugu? Tough question really and a bit premature too. But the young and handsome Ramcharan is aware of the responsibility that come with the territory. He understands that he will obviously be compared to Chiru. Chiru is of course a tough act to emulate. Then there will the drawing parallels with Abhi. Abhi has become a star in his own right after much struggle. So Ramcharan's camp suggests that people should wait and watch and not jump to any hasty conclusions. The good thing about it all is that Ramcharan himself well aware of what is expected of him. But Ramcharan is also equally realistic about what can be done. 'Patience and perseverance is the key,' he says very realistically. With such qualities, he can sure go places.
Ramcharan evinces interest to work with Karunakaran
Ramcharan expressed his wish to play under the direction of Karunakaran. Though a Tamilian, A Kaunakaran, stayed back in Telugu films for the past several years. Moreover, he is very close to the families of Mega Brothers. In fact, it was Karunakaran who gave a big hit like 'Tholiprema' in his career. Unfortunately, none of his films that came later proved hit at Box Office. Despite that, he earned name as a good director and he continued to get opportunities. Though he brought out 'Happy' with Allu Arjun, it failed to give happiness to its buyers. Presently Karunakaran is busy with 'Ullasamgaa' Utsahamgaa'' whose audio was released recently. If everything goes well, a film in their combination is likely in 2009.
Ramacharan's next in Anjana productions
Ramcharan Tej is finishing up his new movie directed by the super it director Rajamouli. 'Chirutha' directed by another hit maker Puri Jagannadh gave a great launch for Ramcharan Teja in Tollywood and no stones are being left unturned to make his second movie even better than his first film. Director Rajamouli is also in high spirits after the grand success of his film 'Yamadonga'. The bubbly Kajal Agarwal is playing the lady love to Ramcharan in this film. Even before the second movie of this young upcoming hero is finished up, the information has come up that the third film of Ramcharan is being discussed and will be produced most probably under the banner of his home production house Anjana Productions. Bhaskar of 'Bommarillu' fame will be in charge of the direction for this film. Ramcharan Teja indeed has his hands full for quite a long time to come.
Ramcharan Teja Rajamouli's movie nears finale
Allu Aravind is producing a high budget film starring Ramcharan Teja and Kajal in the lead cast. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the news that the movie being made on Geetha Arts banner has already made it to the headlines. The movie that has completed 70% of the talkie portions till now is undergoing progress to complete the rest. Presently, the 'Bangaru Kodi Petta' song is being shot in the harbor located in Chennai. Ramcharan Teja and Mumaith Khan shook their legs to the peppy number that was canned extensively. Sources say that the original song in 'Gharana Mogudu' posing Chiranjeevi in the lead was a super duper hit, and the remix version of the same is being done in this film. Further, Chiranjeevi was accompanied by his son for a dance featured as a part of this song. Presently, editing work for the action sequences reeled on Ramcharan is undergoing brisk progress.
Ramcharan gallops away
The scene was set and the horse is in but the change is actor Ram Charan Tej didn't call for a body doubles. He is one amongst the few daring actors of Tollywood and did break the custom. Adding up to the pep, the actor says, "Horse riding has always fascinated me and it's a joyful experience. I even visit my friend's stable whenever I feel like going on a ride." The high spirited actor is elated that his hobby came handy for his profession so early in his career. "I was determined to do things as my forthcoming movie demanded such skills," said the descendant of Chiru family who will chase henchmen along with romancing damsels, riding on a horse. Spectators will be glad to see an actor with skills and performing things that are quite real.
Ramcharan Will Have A Sharper Look in Dhruva
Ramcharan takes lot of care in styling and other technical departments before beginning a new project. Many a times, his looks were received with mixed response but Charan never stopped experimenting on it as per the script demands. His new movie ‘Dhruva’ in Surender Reddy direction is quickly shaping up for a big release within this year and Charan is playing an IPS Officer. After watching the original ‘Thani Oruvan,’ the first impression one would get about hero characterization is the sharp and intelligent look. Charan might have done cop and action based roles in the past but he wanted to keep this one categorically on a new level. Right from hair cut to costume selection and body language, we are sure to see a sharper and new Mega Power Star, an inside source reported us. Surender Reddy is keenly observing subtle mannerisms needed to elevate the hero character and Charan is doing a wonderful job, the source added. After all, ‘Dhruva’ is a life and death movie for him. So he has to excel and deliver a hit at any cost.
