Idhu Namma Aalu to Release in December?
Simbu and Nayanthara starrer long pending project 'Idhu Namma Aalu' directed by Pandiraj of Pasanga fame, shows no sign of release anytime soon.Director has earlier complained that the delay in getting the music from Kuralarasan (Simbu's brother) which has actually delayed the completion of the film.Now Pandiraj who is busy in 'Pasanga-2' has said in twitter that he has nothing to decide abou the release date of the movie, as the producer has to decide it. He has also released the cover photo of the CD which has earned great response from the twitterati.
'Idhu Namma Aalu' running time and other important details
Actor Silambarasan's long expected film 'Idhu Namma Aalu' is getting ready to hit the screens on May 20. The film directed by Pandiraj has acquired a clean U certificate from Censor board. Now we have gathered the detail of the film's running time and other special features. It has been revealed that 'Idhu Namma Aalu' will run for two hours and 15 minutes plus two minutes bloopers. The film have promised a youthful family entertainer. Dialogues written by Pandiraj are said to be one of the main USP's of the film. 'INA' stars Silambarasan, Nayanthara and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles. while Soori has acted as the lead comedian. Kuralarasan has done the musical score and Balasubramaneim has taken care of the cinematography. A running length less than two and a half hours for a realistic entertainer that does not bank on a larger than life hero would be crisp and also apt given the preferences of current generation audience. We hope this works out favorably for the film. The film has been produced by T.Rajendhar and it will be released by Sri Thenandal Films banner.
'Idhu Namma Aalu' Release Postponed Again
Actor Silambarasan's 'Idhu Namma Aalu' has been postponed yet again. After long delays and postponements, the Pandiraj directed romantic flick was finally expected to hit the screens on May 20 that is the Friday of this week. But now it has become clear that the film will not make it to the screens on May 20 as Advance bookings for tickets have not started any theater. It is reliably learnt that the release of "INA' has been deferred by a week owing to the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections and Results which will be announced tomorrow (May 19). It is said that the makers felt that as everyone will be concerned about the election and results this week the film may not get enough attention and that is why they have decided to postpone the release date to next week that is on may 27. We will have to wait for the official announcement on the new release date. 'Idhu Namma Aalu' stars Silambarasan, Nayanthara, Andrea Jeremiah Soori and others. 'Idhu Namma Aalu' Box Office performance in First weekend
Actor Silambarasan's 'Idhu Namma Aalu' which has released on Friday after a long delay has got a bumper opening. The romantic-comedy directed by Pandiraj has reportedly collected Rs.4 crores on its opening day in Tamil Nadu. The film has been screened 281 shows across 17 theaters in the city. It has got a phenomenal 97% theater occupancy rate in the first three days due to positive word of mouth and with this the film has exceeded the one crore collection mark (Rs.1,33,41,030) in its first weekend in Chennai alone. This is the biggest ever opening for Simbu as well as Pandiraj films. The film stars Nayanthara as the female lead and Soori as the lead comedian. The inclusion of these two talented performers has contributed immensely for the reach of the film among audience.
