A century is a century. Be it on the cricket field or on the music field.
Mani Sharma has achieved that on the latter. The talented music director has reached the coveted landmark of scoring music for 100 films with Room Mates, the movie made by AVS.
The happy coincidence here is that Mani Sharma had started his musical journey with AVS himself --- for his movie Super Heroes.
It has been a long and eventful journey for Mani Sharma, who is the son of the well-known violinist Y N Sharma. Mani Sharma had worked under the baton of many music directors, including Ilayaraja, Keeravani and Koti, before setting out on his own.
Mani Sharma is essentially a melody man, but has given some rollicking mass numbers to suit every hero. His association with Mahesh Babu's films is now the stuff of legend. Pokiri now and Okkadu then are exemplars among his works.
His many hits include Choodalani Undi, Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu, Lakshmi.
His music for Junior NTR in Ashok is also doing well.
Keep the good show going, Mani.
