Aamir Khan Feels Salman Khan's Rape Comment Was Insensitive

While most of the Bollywood had decided to be silent about Salman Khan’s rape comment, industry insiders like Kangana Ranaut, Shah Rukh Khan had a very practical stand about the issue.

And now Aamir Khan has for the first time spoken up about Salman Khan’s rape comment. While in a press interaction to promote his upcoming film Dangal, Aamir said, “Going by the media reports, since I wasn’t there personally, what he said was very unfortunate and insensitive.”

Expressing his discontent at how the media reported Salman’s comment, he said: “I really feel that as a society and media, we concentrate on controversial and negative issues. It’s human tendency. We don’t concentrate on positive things, because they don’t make news. But people need to concentrate on positivity that is also happening in the country.”

Aamir added, “When I read the news, even I got affected by the negativity and would really appreciate if we concentrate on the good things that are happening in the media.”

Well said Mr. Satyameva Jayate!
