Did Aamir Violate Law?

Aamir Khan decried the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai. In his recent role as a social activist, he urged the citizens to stand by each other. The media as well as masses are loving him in this new avatar. But there are some people who would want him to shut up for good and they are desperate to malign his name. Come what may! The forest officials in Gujarat have raked up a non-existent issue by alleging that Aamir violated the wild life rules while filming his debut production 'Lagaan' in Kutch by using a Chinkara (An endangered specie) without prior permission.

A preliminary probe, claimed forest officials, has shown that 'The producers did not take permission from the forest department for filming the endangered species and thus violated rules.' A forest department official said, 'If filming was done in connection with a documentary or wildlife film, there was no issue. As the film and the footage of chinkara was used for commercial purpose, it is against the law.'

Somehow it is quite apparent that the vitiating forces in Gujarat are desperate to settle scores with Aamir Khan. And they shall go to any length to trouble him. There's no logic in raising an issue like this after six years. More power to Aamir Khan. He must stand his ground and ignore such distractions for they won't stand ground
