Hindi films taking on global face: Kaushik

Bhopal, April 4 (UNI): Bollywood director Satish Kaushik believes that contemporary Hindi films have taken on a "global face" and that was the reason why their technical aspect was constantly improving.

"A major Hindi movies market exists in foreign countries," he told reporters here yesterday.

Responding to a question on whether the affect of the overseas market was influencing several producers and directors to make films with only non-resident Indians in mind, Kaushik said several movies were being shot with the urban upper middle class and NRIs in mind.

"I have created films on crime, love and social subjects and, as a challenge, I shot the comedy 'Shaadi Se Pehle'," he added.
