Media made Dhoni feel like a Murderer

India's limited overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni made him feel like a murderer or terrorist after the early exit from the 2007 ICC World Cup. He particularly point out that there was lot of media when Team India landed in Delhi and they followed them from the airport.

Captain Cool feels Sportspersons need to be strong enough from within to handle such things whenever performance don't meet expectations. 'After stepping out of airport, We got into a police van and the vehicle was travelling at a speed of 60 to 70 kms on the narrow roads. Media Cars around us and the big lights on top made us feel as if we have committed a big crime, alike a murderer of terrorist. After reaching police station, We waited for close to 20 minutes and left in our cars. This incident had a huge impact on Me. I channelised it to emerge as a better player and human being,' he told during the promotional event of his biopic 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' in New York.

Rahul Dravid led Team India couldn't even qualify for the Second Round during 2007 World Cup after losing to Bangladesh. Most of the cricketers in the Team threw the blame on then Coach Chappell for creating an unpleasant atmosphere in the dressing room.
