'Mera Pind-My Home' is a winner

Big Pictures and Punj-aab Movies hosted a special screening of 'Mera Pind-My Home' in Delhi for political stalwarts.

Director of the film Manmohan Singh and former cricket player Sidhu, who plays a leading character in the film played hosts. The screening was attended by L.K. Advani and other prominent figures from the world of politics.

'Mera Pind ' My Home' beat previous records in Punjab and Overseas.

The film opened to packed houses in Punjab and grossed INR 57, 95, 533 in the opening weekend alone. The All India gross collections till date have crossed INR 1, 50, 00, 000. In India, the film released in 44 screens (22 prints and 22 digital). Overseas, the film opened at an astounding '‚¤72,000 in the UK, $177,000 in US and Canada, AUD $46, 819 in Australia and New Zealand. The total overseas gross of the film has crossed USD $702,000 till date crossing USD $350, 000 in USA and Canada, USD $252, 000 in the UK and USD $100,000 in Australia and New Zealand. The film released overseas with 56 prints across UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany.
