Nasser's new venture

Nasser is a thinking man's actor. And now he is joining the list of film stars venturing to small screen.

He would be playing the lead role in a teleserial titled Mounam which would be on air in Vijay TV beginning this weekend.

In the serial, Nasser plays a psychiatrist and the story revolves around the doctor.

The teleserial is based on real life incidents.

Nasser, an actor-cum-producer-cum-director, has played in prominent roles in over 100 films in various languages and produced a couple of films besides directing a few.

On his venture to television, Nasser says, 'just the size differs. But the output remains the same.'

Nasser has these days cut down on his film output simply because he has not got any new challenges. He feels bored doing the same thing over and again.
