Mahesh Babu, the new brand ambassador for Thumbsup, expressed deep respect for Chiranjeevi while promoting his upcoming film 'Atidhi'.
Chiranjeevi was promoting Thumbsup for the last few years and the contract tenure was over recently. Thumbsup now roped in Mahesh Babu to promote their drink. There is a scheme conducted by Thumbsup that give the drinkers of Thumbsup a chance to meet Mahesh Babu. The scheme is titled - Thumbsup Thagandi Mahesh ni Kalavandi.
As part of it, Mahesh spent some time at IMAX today talking to the media and meeting the winners. Mahesh is media shy and is limited with words normally. But surprisingly this time he was in full spirits.
During the question hour by the media, responding to a question on if he replaced Chiranjeevi in the ad, Mahesh responded saying, 'No one can replace Chiranjeevi. I am following his foot steps and I want to make successful movies. My place in the industry will be known in the future'. When asked about Atidhi (guest), he quipped that one should meet him (in the theaters) to know what he is. He expressed his confidence on the film and said that it will cross the records of Pokiri.
