DPI leader Thol Thirumavalavan's debut film, Anbu Thozhi, is set for release after facing censorship challenges regarding its political content.
DPI leader Thol Thirumavalavan's maiden venture as hero Anbu Thozhi will hit the screens this weekend.
The movie starring Thirumavalavan in the role of a rebel leader finally hits the screen after troubles it faced with the censor board.
Anbu Thozhi has Thirumavalavan playing the role of a rebel leader championing the cause of the Eazham Tamils. After the Censor Board saw the film, they raised strong objections and denied the film an A certificate.
They objected to the scenes that are glorifying LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.
As per reports, the movie has cuts in 9 controversial scenes.
