Rajinikanth's upcoming film Rana will feature seven heroines, with Deepika Padukone confirmed and Vidya Balan in talks. The movie's budget is expected to exceed Rs. 100 crores.

The latest we hear is that Rajini is going to star opposite seven heroines, three of them opposite him. There are many speculations revolving around Rana regarding the heroines casting. Director KS Ravi Kumar in a recent press conference confirmed that they have not approached either Asin or Rekha for doing the heroine roles opposite Rajini. Its only Deepika Padukone who got confirmed so far and the hunt for the rest of the heroines is going on currently. Vidya Balan is under consideration as talks are going on with her.
The budget of Rana is likely to cross Rs.100 crores. The shooting is expected to commence either from mid-April or early May in London.
Meantime the director along with Superstar Rajini is moving to UK to finalize the looks of Rajini as for the film.
