Sana Althaf, known for 'Vikramadhityan', takes on the lead role of Salomy in James Albert's directorial debut 'Mariyam Mukku', starring opposite Fahadh Faasil.
After the role of a sister to character played by Dulqar Salman in 'Vikramadhityan' which pushed her to limelight, Sana Althaf did have a surprise when the heroine role of 'Mariam Mukku' came to her.She plays the role of Salomy, the daughter of a foreigner who settled in Kerala, in the film.She and Felix, played by Fahadh are thick friends even from school, in the film. And she knows Felix better than any one.
Scripted by James Albert who debuts as a director through the film, the movie 'Mariyam Mukku, also features four songs by Vidhya Sagar.The director says that he is also pretty impressed with Sana who is quite talented and gives fine performances even in the first takes.
