Looks like Suriya, who is busy wrapping up Hari's S3, is on a signing spree. The latest information spreading around the Kodambakkam circle is that the Singam star might be doing his next with director Muthaiah, who is known for his rural flicks.
This film is said to be a sentimental action drama about father-son relationship, set in the rural backdrop. Reportedly, Rajkiran has been approached to play the father role, while Suriya will be seen as his son.
Muthaiah's earlier film Kuttipuli was about mother-son relationship, while Komban and Maruthu were about father-in-law/son-in-law and grandmother-grandson relationship respectively. If this project is to happen, it would be a treat for the audience to witness Suriya in a full fledged villager role after a very long time.
Studio Green Film's K.E.Gnanavel Raja is most likely to fund this flick which is rumored to be titled as Thanthai Sol Mikka Mandhiram Illai.
It is not sure if this film will be happening before or after Pa.Ranjith’s directorial. An official confirmation is awaited from the team.
