Shankar's 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay, Amy Jackson in lead roles in currently being shot in and around Chennai.The team has recently shot outdoors in a popular mall in Chennai, and they have opted to start shooting in the early morning as there will be less crowd.
They started to shoot at Forum Vijay Mall in Vadapalani at 2 AM and wrapped up at 6AM. Akshay Kumar and some other actors were spotted there.Being bankrolled by Lyca productions, the film is being made with a mega budget of 350 crore rupees, which is probably the highest ever in India. A.R.Rahman composes the music for this robotic movie.
