Aamir Khan, who had evinced keen interest in doing the Hindi remake of blockbuster Ghajini, had called on its dirtector Murugadoss and held detailed discussions about the project.
Ghajini directed by Muruigadoss featuring Surya and Asin was one of the blockbusters in Tamil filmdom.
Aamir Khan, who saw the film was amazed by the script, immediately decided to do the film. In this regard, the actor had called on Murugadoss last week and had suggested few corrections in the script to suit Hindi audience.
This September, Aamir is all set to woo his fans in New York as part of a star nite programme, and he is keen to begin Gajini in Hindi right after. In fact, Aamir has invited Murugadoss to New York as well, to finalise the script and other details.
