Abbas, the popular actor in Tamil and Telugu cinema, suffered injuries while shooting for a Telugu film.
The actor, who made his debut with Kadhal Desam, had acted in over 30 films in different languages in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.
Recently the actor was shooting for a stunt sequence for a Telugu movie Rudhraveenai.
He appeared for a stunt sequence choreographed by Prakash without any dupe. In the melee, he sustained severe injuries in his arms and started to bleed.
The actor was rushed to a neighboring hospital and was admitted. Shooting was called off and the actor was advised rest.
