Dan Macarthur the cinmatographer who worked with Thala Ajith in Yennai Arindhaal, was also a part of Gautham Menon's later film Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada which featured Simbu in the lead role.In a recent interview, Dan has heaped praise on Simbu. He seems to be so surprised how Simbu okays the scene in just one shot.He quoted "Simbu was great to work with because he is a very chilled out guy and a very accomplished actor. It always amazed me how he nailed the scenes in one take."
