Rajinikanth, a name synonymous down south has become ever popular in north after his outing as Robot in Hindi last year. Now to cash in on the country’s biggest superstar’s image filmmaker Atul Agnihotri is in plans to make a biopic on Superstar Rajini.
Rajini who created sensation last year with Robot has given his nod for Atul Agnihotri to go ahead with his biopic. It would be a first of its kind if this biopic goes on floor considering that earlier a biopic on Kishore Kumar’s life has bee n put on hold by UTV.
Forbes magazine’s most influential person of 2010, Rajini will not be a part of this project as he has other commitments filled up for this year. With regards to the casting no one has been zeroed in as of now.
Atul Agnihotri, who’s right now busy in making Bodyguard with Salman Khan in the lead will hand over the director’s hat to Llyod Baptista, who has directed some international ads and is a known name in India.
The biopic will tentatively go for shoot this year but an official conformation is awaited from Atul.
