Vaazhthugal audio launch witnessed the coming together of political and filmy celebrities to bless the team of the film with success.

The function, held in Chennai on January 3 at Green Park Hotel, was graced by the presence of a few political personalities including Karthi P. Chithambaram (son of Union Finance Minister P. Chithambaram), poet Thamizhachi (daughter of late Thanga Pandiyan, a DMK leader), and the M. Subramaniam, Mayor of Chennai.

Karthi P. Chithambarm, who released the audio made an interesting remark on the combination of the movie. The visuals screened before the formal release showed the core team of the film working on the sets wearing the T-shirts carrying Che Guerra's figure. Karthi juxtaposed it with the producer's name. He drew the attention of the audiences that a corporate company coming forward to produce a film directed by Che's ardent follower. A corporate company supporting the cause of a rebellious director is the reflection of the changes taking place all over the world, he opined.

Thamizhachi, who received the audio, said that she was a rebel and any genuine work of art would trigger some sort of rebellious feeling among the audiences. The poet turned politician's speech was like a gentle breeze with poetic touch.

Lyricist Na. Muthukumar gave an elaborated account of how the songs were created within a short span of time.

Seeman recalled each and everyone's contribution to the film. He also thanked the CM for making a correction in the title.

Sathyaraj and Parthibhan enthralled the crowd with their trade mark humor.

Rama Narayanan, Kalaipuli G. Sekaran, Balu Mahendra, Gangai Amaran, and Ibrahim Rawthar, producer Siva, among others graced the function and delivered brief talks wishing the film all success. Swaminathan, Narayanan, and Natarajan of Pyramid Simira too addressed the gathering.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, Madhavan, and Bhavana could not attend the function due to their professional commitments.

The three songs that were screened stood as testimony to the high quality of the film. The tunes and the picturization were quite impressive.

'Vaazhthugal' will hit the halls on 'Thamizhar Thirunaal' Pongal day.
