The Chennai 600028 cricket tourney featuring 32 teams from all around the State will begin tomorrow at YMCA Grounds in Chennai.
To commemorate the success of the film Chennai 600028, which was about cricket, a mega cricket carnival is being organized in Chennai between 2 and 4 August. The movie, produced by S P B Charan and directed by Venkat Prabhu has completed a 100-day-run.
The winners will be awarded with Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 10,000 for the runners-up. According to Charan, "The winners will get an opportunity to play against the star team of Chennai 600028 on 4 August forming part of the 100th day celebrations of the movie."
