Playback singer Vijay Yesudas who makes his debut in Dhanush's ‘Maari’ heaped praised on his hero in an exclusive interview with IG Tamil. He said that on the sets he was amazed to see Dhanush with such a puny body transform into a powerful man when the camera started rolling.
Vijay added that Dhanush had his unique way of indepth portrayal of characters like the one he did in ‘Shamitabh’ where an ordinary young man transforms into a superstar and the same is also true in ‘Maari’ in which Dhanush has many shades to the character he plays which is a mix of good things and bad things which will surprise the audiences. Vijay plays a cop in the film.
