Director Prabhu Solomon and Dhanush are teaming up for the first time in Thodari, and the film has Rajini Murugan fame Keerthy Suresh as the lead heroine. The cast also includes Pooja Jhaveri, Ganesh Venkatraman, Harish Uthaman, Thambi Ramaiah, Radharavi and Karunakaran.
Dhanush plays a Pantry worker in the movie and the major portions of the film has been shot in and around a train. The shooting for the film is already over and the actor has just started to dub for the movie today.
