Noted playback singer Harish Raghavendra appears to be in trouble in the wake of a dowry harassment case filed against him by his wife. It may be recalled that the singer married one Uma Devi, a native of Malaysia, a couple of years ago. His wife had filed a dowry harassment case against Harish and returned to Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the playback singer filed a petition seeking divorce. Last week, Harish Raghavendra's wife visited Chennai in connection with the case. She called on the city police Commissioner Lethika Saran and appealed to her to help get back the dowry given to Harish. A case has been reportedly filed against the playback singer.
