This incident happened in Singapore at the SIIMA Awards. Nayantara was adjudged the Best Actress in Tamil for her performance in Nanum Rowdy Thaan (Nenu Rowdy Ne in Telugu). The organizers called Bunny on stage to give her the award. But when Nayanthara arrived, she asked the organizers to get the award from director of the film, Vignesh Shivan.
The organizers obliged and Vignesh came on stage to give her the award. But Nayantara did not even acknowledge the presence of Bunny on stage and did not even apologize for the inconvenience. She went on hugging Vignesh after receiving the award. There are rumours in Kollywood that Nayanthara is dating Vignesh.
As their on stage romance continued, Bunny felt insulted. Nayantara did not pair up with Allu Arjun even once in her career so far. Bunny after the show vented his anger on the organizers for creating the chaos. But they also remained with blank face as the development totally came as a surprise to them.
