Padmabhushan Kamal Haasan who received the Best Actor award for Viswaroopam has come from the back stage to receive his award which shocked many. In addition to it, Ulaganayagan was found limping on the stage.
Though organizers at 8th Vijay Awards switched off the lights it caught the attention of few audiences. Kamal Haasan seems to have sprained his leg due to a muscle pull and attended Appollo Hospitals for treatment.
Uttama Villain director Ramesh Aravind said, "Kamal did not sustain the injury during a stunt or an action scene. He had a small muscle pull and has been advised a day's rest."
Sources said, Doctor advised Kamal to rest for few days. Even then the actor known for his dedication choose to attend Vijay Awards and also started shooting for Uttama Villain.
While receiving his award, Kamal Haasan announced that his Uttama Villain will hit the screens first and not Vishwaroopam 2. "Vishwaroopam 2 involves a lot of CG work and though we have already started work on it, it will take a little more time," Kamal said.
