Violin maestro Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan is donning a new role. After scoring music for many movies and staging several thousands classical concerts across the globe, Kunnakudi are set to direct a Tamil movie now.
The movie is titled Esapattukari. A musical subject, the movie has story, screenplay, dialogues and direction by Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan.
Featuring newcomers, the movie went to floors in Chennai on Wednesday. Kaviarasu Vairamuthu has penned the songs in the movie.
'Much like Konjum Salangai and Thillana Mohanambal, Esapattukari would be a movie that dwells on the traditional music of our land', says Kunankudi Vaidyanthan.
The movie would be music oriented and it has enough action and thrills in it, he adds.
