Tollywood star Mahesh Babu’s recent film ‘Srimanthudu’ which had a simultaneous release in Tamil as ‘Selvandhan’ last week is doing great business at the box office. However the film has irked fans of Superstar Rajinikanth in Tamil Nadu.
The title credits of the film carries the ‘Superstar’ title for Mahesh. This seems to have offended the innumerable fans of Rajinikanth as they claim that the ‘Thalaivar’ is the evergreen Superstar of Tamil cinema. They argue that the makers should have removed the ‘Superstar’ tag for Mahesh Babu at least in the Tamil version of the film
‘Srimanthudu’ aka ‘Selvandhan’ has been directed by Koratala Siva and it Mahesh Babu is one of the producers of the flick.
