Mollywood superstar Mohanlal has now retained the Kerala distribution rights of Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Kabali. Maxlab Releases, the distribution firm owned by him, will release Kabali in more than 200 screens in Kerala.
They have indeed paid a huge sum for the release rights, and some reports claim that it is much higher than Vijay's Theri's 5.8 crores, which is the current highest.Meanwhile, the release date of Kabali is yet to be announced officially, and the trade circles speculate the film to release on 22nd June.
