Mamta Mohandas, the damsel from God's Own Country, is happy at the positive reviews that her maiden Tamil venture Sivapathikaram has been getting.
An elated Mamta says,'The good beginning will help me build my career with ease.'
Though Sivapathikaram opened big, Mamta has chosen not to hurry. She has plans to wait and watch.
Says Mamta, 'In Malayalam, an actress gets meaty roles and she is part of the movie. In contrast, Tamil cinema is more commercialised. One has to choose roles with caution to sustain in this competitive industry.'
Mamta has penchant for music. She has sung a song in Malayalam and Telugu. She says, 'If music directors give me an opportunity, I am ready to croon in Tamil as well.'
