Come July, the Nadigar Sanagm should go to polls to elect their new president and other office-bearers.
Nadigar Sangam Captain Vijayakanth, who has emerged a big force in politics is a doubtful starter for the elections and so is Sarath Kumar.
A section of the members feel a non-partisan (without party afiliation) president would be the right choice and the names of Sathayaraj and Prabhu had been suggested.
However some others insist that it was Vijayakanth who helped the sangam over huge financial troubles andhad even promised to construct a own building. He is the right candidate to contest again.
With the general body meeting not very far away, more twists and turmoils can be expected at the Nadigar Sangam premises.
