Motherlands Pictures, who gave super hit movies like 'Payanangal Mudivathillai' and 'Udhaya Geetham', is making a movie after a long break. This is the silver jubilee year for the production company and it chooses this opportunity to make its re-entry.
Motherlands Pictures teams up with the young director Krishna, who made his debut with Suriya-Jyothika-Bhoomika starrer 'Sillunu Oru Kadhal'. The movie will be a joint venture of Motherlands and White Field, which is Krishna's production company. Krishna, the relative of actor Sivakumar, was working as an associate director with Goutham Menon. He also did a cameo in Goutham's 'Minnale'.
Like 'Sillunu Oru Kadhal', the yet-to-be-titled movie too will be a musical. Young music director Sathya has worked hard to offer a vibrant music. The shooting of the new movie, starring Richard in the lead role, will start by February 6. The film, targeting the youth audience, will be shot exclusively in Ooty.
Krishna introduces Gayatri, one of the two heroines, who is 15 years old. Keerath, who played the lead role in 'Vattaram', is the other heroine.
The highlight of the movie is Richard's dance. Richard is a unique dancer and a master of many types of dances. A member belonging to the unit says that Richard is the only person in Kollywood, who knows the amazing hip hop dance, performed as street dance in New York City.
