Undeterred Navdeep is pinning all his hopes on Illavattam, his forthcoming Tamil release.
He plays a carefree youth in the movie opposite a debutant Sheela.
Directed by Rajaraja, Illavatam, as the title suggests is a movie that dwells on romance between two youths.
Speaking about the film, Rajaraja, says, "The movie has shaped up well and no doubt it would join the league of films like Paneer Pushpangal and Thulluvatho Illamai."
The film is produced by Hari Gopalakrishna and D Bhaskar for Sri Rajarajeswari Combines. 'Ilavattam' is being shot in many places including Tenkasi, Gingee and Chennai. It will hit the theatres soon.
