Nutty alias Natarajan is making his debut in Naalai. He plays second fiddle to Richard in the movie. An acclaimed cinematographer, Nutty is wielding the camera for Rajkumar Santosh's latest Halla Bol, starring Ajay Devgan and Priyanka Chopra. "I grew up watching the films of MGR, Sivaji Ganesan and Rajinikanth," he says enthusiastically. Nutty has wielded the camera for more than 900 television commercials and around 60 music videos.
In Tamil, he cranked the camera for Vijay-starrer Youth and later Ramana. On getting an opportunity to act, for Naalai, "I was signed as the cinematographer because my friend, Mahesh, was directing it. Prashanth was suppoed to act. But later withdrew. Mahesh then asked me to do the role. The first few days in front of the camera were tough. I thought everyone was looking at me". Even before Naalai could release, he has signed a movie titled Aasan.
