Speaking about the project, Perarasu says, 'Every man has got problems and for many they are their own makings.'Thiruvannamalai' is the story of a confident youth, who fights against evils in society and emerges triumphant'.
For the first time, Perarasu is handling law and order problems, rowdy activities and evils of politics all together. Says Perarasu, 'Since the title is 'Thiruvannamalai', there are loads of spiritualism in the script as well'.
'The story is tailor-made for Arjun. It is not a just an action film but a new attempt too. I thank my producers Kavithalaya for their support'.
Arjun plays a cable TV operator, while newcomer Sania Vakil plays an advocate and Karunaas plays a prominent character in the film.
Perarasu has penned lyrics for a song set to tune by Srikanth Deva. He has also sung a number called 'Veera Nadai......'.
