Mozart of Madras, Oscar winner A R Rahman is trying something new which was not tried by any music director so far in Tamil cinema. He is planning to bring out a coffee table book that shows his work and colleagues from ‘Roja’ to recent ‘Raavan’
Well known photographer and director of K M C Conservatory, T Selvakumar has started the shooting for the book that will have all the new photos of Rahman and also other musicians who had worked with him till now.
Some reports says that some of the pages in the book will be dedicated to Sridhar, a sound enginner and a close friend to Rahman who has passed away.Selvakumar says that the book will be published by rahman foundation which is expected to release by the end of 2010.
According to sources “Rahman is keen on the project because he wants to place on record singers and others who had worked with him, whom he thinks as the secret of his success.”
